Martin Pierce's door handles are more art than hardware. His unique designs take their inspiration from the plant and animal world. He makes the original design in jeweler's wax and a lost wax process is used to cast the bronze. The process has to be repeated for each piece.

The company grew from the original cabinet pulls that Martin developed for his Hedgerow furniture series. He decided to take the project farther, and has since developed a comprehensive line of door handles and cabinet knobs that capture the textural reality of nature. He says the project is just the beginning, and in the near future he hopes to adapt his designs into matching bathroom fixtures, electrical covers, bronze kitchen tiles and window hardware.

All models are available in a variety of finishes that are divided into three general categories: oil rubbed bronze, hot patina bronze, and stainless steel.
