Woodtech Trading Company is located in the northwest corner of Montana in the small town of Columbia Falls. They handcraft each stile and rail door with quality materials and workmanship to create a product that will last for years to come, exemplifying time-honored values. All doors are made-to-order and to your specifications. Their custom products can be found in colleges, hospitals, country clubs, law offices, and high end homes from Valdez, Alaska to the Turks and Caicos Islands in the British West Indies.
When building a door, Woodtech starts with only the finest materials. From the beginning, the doors receive the utmost attention to detail. By carefully selecting the lumber, their veneers are made in house for the stiles and rails with an 1/8" finished thickness. They also provide face-glued solid stiles and rails that are made with only the best materials. The panels and sticking are made in a variety of ways, enabling them to provide a door that is best suited to your project. Once all the parts are assembled, the stiles and rails are doweled and glued together using only water resistant Type I glues. The doors are then sanded to perfection.
Doors may be shipped unfinished or sent to their state-of-the-art prefinish shop where they are stained in custom colors to compliment your projects. Woodtech offers AWI System TR-2 (catalyzed lacquer), TR-4, (conversion varnish), TR-5 (catalyzed vinyl) and TR-6 (catalyzed polyurethane) with stain or clear finish. Factory priming is also available.
